One studio, one team. From the bones of your kitchen to the art on your walls.
Full-service kitchen design and installation through an authorized dealer relationship with one of Canada's finest cabinetry manufacturers. Carl guides every decision from layout to finish, redrawing your architect's plans with a designer's eye and adding the storage logic and detail that most builders overlook.
There is a significant difference between a decorator and a designer. A decorator selects finishes. A designer rethinks the space itself. Carl is a designer in the truest sense: he takes your architectural drawings or existing floor plan and redraws them, layering in the cabinetry placement, traffic flow, natural light, and storage logic that most architects and builders simply do not account for. The result is a home that feels like it was always meant to look this way.
Think of the transformation shows you have watched where a tired room gets gutted and reborn with perfect proportions, materials that work together, and a focal point that stops you cold. That design intelligence is what Carl brings to every project. The difference is that Carl is here, in Camrose, working with your specific space and your specific life.
A room is only finished when every layer is considered. At Interiors on Main, that means furniture that is built with care, textiles and wallpaper selected as part of a complete design, and art made specifically for your wall. Every choice Carl makes is part of a single cohesive scheme, not a series of separate shopping decisions.
Carl works with five curated fabric and wallpaper collections, selected for range, quality, and how well they perform in real rooms. Every textile choice is made in context, alongside your cabinetry, flooring, and furniture selections.
Rugs help set the architecture of a room just as much as the furnishings do. Carl uses them to anchor seating layouts, soften hard surfaces, and connect upholstery, wallpaper, and art into one finished composition. Scale, texture, and palette are always chosen in relation to the room, never as an afterthought.
Sofas, sectionals, chairs, and complementary furnishings are sourced with the same room-first discipline as everything else in the studio. Carl moves between Calgary benchmade upholstery and broader fine-furnishings programs so scale, silhouette, fabric, and finish all support the architecture instead of competing with it.
We source fine art prints from a curated catalogue, scale them to your wall dimensions, and frame them in your choice of finish. No two pieces are sized the same. The result is a bespoke statement piece made for your space and no other.
Window treatments are the detail that separates a finished room from an unfinished one. Carl works with four carefully selected blind and shading suppliers, covering everything from precision cellular shades and motorized rollers to European woven textile systems. Every recommendation starts with the room design, so your window treatment is never an afterthought.
Custom drapery has always been part of the Interiors on Main offering. For decades, fabrication was done in-house. Today, Carl works with a trusted contracting partner to ensure the same level of precision and custom fit. You select the fabric from a wide range of samples, Carl specifies the construction, and the result is drapery that looks like it belongs in the room because it was designed for it.
An extensive selection of tile and stone curated through our Canadian supplier partners. For kitchens, bathrooms, entryways, and feature walls. Samples are displayed throughout our showroom in context, alongside the cabinetry and finishes they will sit next to, so you can see the full picture before you commit.
For projects requiring custom stone fabrication, Carl works with a trusted manufacturing partner. Ask in the showroom.

Carl redraws the layout and guides selections so cabinetry, finishes, hardware, and window fashions work together from the start.
Once the design is approved, deposits are placed and the order moves into production while timelines stay clear.
We coordinate delivery and installation, with cabinetry typically at 8-10 weeks and blinds at 2-4 weeks.
Interiors on Main is a proud design partner of Alair Homes Camrose. If you're building a new home with Alair, we offer complimentary design sketches as part of the process. Bring your architectural drawings and we'll show you what your space could truly become.
We carry the brands that stand behind their products. Every supplier Carl works with was chosen deliberately, not by catalogue: Canadian furniture makers whose quality speaks for itself. Dealer-exclusive lines like Hunter Douglas, Sollera, and Maison Berger that you simply cannot walk into a big box store and buy. European textile and blind houses whose precision sits at a different level. The suppliers Carl works with carry manufacturer warranties on their products, and every selection is made as part of a complete design, not a standalone purchase.
If you have ever watched a design show and thought "I want that for my house," you already understand what Carl does. The difference between a decorator and a designer is the difference between picking cushions and rethinking the room. Carl is a designer. He takes your architectural drawings or existing floor plan and redraws them, reconfiguring layouts to improve proportion, flow, and light in ways the original builder never considered.
His practice covers kitchen and cabinetry design, full space planning, furniture selection, tile coordination, and custom art, all delivered through a single conversation and a process that removes guesswork at every step. What you see on television is exactly what he brings to Central Alberta: a trained, comprehensive design perspective applied to your actual home.
Carl took ownership of Interiors on Main roughly a decade ago, bringing his design practice to a studio with deep roots in the Camrose community. He does not manage construction, but he is every bit as central to a great result as the builder who does.
